On a late bulletin, AMD announced that most of its chipset drivers are under a vulnerability classified as medium severity and whose impact is about information disclosure.
Thanks to Kyriakos Economou from ZeroPeril Ltd, it has been reported that it was doable through this AMD Chipset Driver vulnerability to access and leak data for any low privileged users.
To mitigate this issue, AMD recommends you to update your driver.
For that, 2 options :
- update through Windows Update to the version of AMD PSP driver 5.17.0.0
- update to the AMD Chipset Driver 3.08.17.735.
